You created your VM. You’ve set it up. SSH server is up and running.
Now you want to SSH into it. Oops, you can’t.
Here’s how to do it. It’s really simple.
Create an extra adapter and set it to host-only. Check your new ip through ifconfig or ipconfig, depending on your guest OS. That’s the one you’ll want to SSH into.
